Terms and Conditions for the Alfa Card Users

1. Eligibility:

The discount card is exclusively available for purchase by employees and members of the Association of Logistics and Forwarding Agents (ALFA). Proof of membership or employment must be provided at the time of purchase.

2. Card Validity

  • The card is valid for the period stated on the official ALFA website.

  • Renewal is required upon the expiration of the validity period.

3. Participating Sponsors:

  • Current sponsors are featured and listed on the official ALFA website.

  • Sponsors reserve the right to modify their discount offers at any time.

4. Discounts and Privileges

  • Discounts and privileges may vary at any time and depend exclusively on each sponsor’s offer at the time of purchase.

  • The specific terms and conditions for discounts are determined by the participating sponsors and may be subject to restrictions or exclusions.

5. Usage

  • The discount card is strictly non-transferable and can only be used by the registered cardholder.

  • The card must be presented at participating sponsoring locations to redeem discounts.

6. Lost or Stolen Cards

 In case of a lost or stolen card, a replacement can be issued for a nominal fee.

7. Cardholder Responsibilities

  • Cardholders are responsible for ensuring that the card is used in accordance with these terms.

  • Misuse of the card, including transfer to unauthorized users, may result in revocation without refund.

8. Modifications and Cancellations

  • ALFA reserves the right to modify or terminate the discount card program, participating sponsors, or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • No refunds will be issued for the early termination of the card program.

9. Limitation of Liability

ALFA is not responsible for disputes or issues arising between the cardholder and participating sponsors regarding the redemption of discounts nor the quantity of the products, or services sold

10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or using the discount card, the cardholder agrees to these terms and conditions.

1. Responsibility for Discounts:

  • Sponsors are responsible for honoring all discounts and offers they promote through the ALFA Discount Card program.
  • Any disputes regarding the redemption of discounts or offers must be resolved directly between the sponsor and the cardholder.

2. Offer Details:

  • Sponsors are required to provide clear and detailed information about their offers, including any restrictions or limitations.
  • Changes to offer details must also be communicated to ALFA at least seven (7) days in advance.

3. Advance Notice of Changes:

  • Sponsors must provide ALFA with written notice at least seven (7) days in advance if an offer or discount is no longer valid or needs to be modified.
  • Failure to notify ALFA in a timely manner may result in outdated or inaccurate information being displayed on the ALFA website, which could affect the sponsor’s standing in the program.

4. Non-Exclusive Partnership:

  • Participation in the ALFA Discount Card program does not grant sponsors exclusive rights or advertising privileges. ALFA reserves the right to add additional sponsors to the program at its discretion.

5. Compliance:

  • Sponsors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in relation to their offers and discounts.
  • Offers that are misleading or in violation of laws may result in termination from the program.

6. Website Updates:

  • ALFA will update the website regularly to reflect the latest information on participating sponsors and their offers, provided the sponsor has communicated changes within the required timeframe.

7. Termination:

  • ALFA reserves the right to terminate the sponsor’s participation in the program.
  • Sponsors may voluntarily opt out of the program but must provide ALFA with written notice at least thirty (30) days prior to termination.

8. Limitation of Liability:

  • ALFA is not responsible for disputes, issues, or complaints regarding discounts, offers promoted by sponsors, sales, or any additional issues with users.
  • Sponsors are solely liable for any claims arising from their offers, sales, or any additional issues with the users.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • Participation in the ALFA Discount Card program constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
